El Paso, Texas – As required under the Texas Election Code, the El Paso County Elections Department will conduct the public test of automatic tabulating equipment, also known as a Public Logic and Accuracy (L & A) Test for the November 2026 General and Special Election.

Election officials will use test ballots with predetermined results to verify that the voting system is properly programmed and that the equipment is accurately reporting votes.
